With the amazing new CAMM JET, Roland has vastly expanded
creativity and productivity in digital printing and cutting. The new
CAMM JET unites photographic print quality with full-contour
high-precision cutting. Specialized labels, signs, packaging or
decals can be printed with remarkable quality, and then cut to any
size or shape you choose. You can even produce a large size
point-of-purchase display in one seamless process. The possibilities
are infinite with one machine that delivers everything from
attention getting floor graphics to window displays to billboards.
Printing and cutting can be used separately as well. The CAMM JET
offers the latest in cutting capabilities, such as text outlining
created with graphics software.

You'll be astonished by the remarkable print quality of the CAMM
JET. The 1440 dpi* output offers resolution capable of reproducing a
single hair. This superb level of detail has been achieved by
utilizing the latest Roland Piezo inkjet technology, which is not
only precise but economical as well, dispensing just the amount of
ink required.

The CAMM JET utilizes two additional colors with the normal four
colors (CMYK) of process printing. Choose between two combinations:
orange and green, or light cyan and light magenta. Select the
combination that suits your job the best. For example, the addition
of orange and green will greatly expand the color gamut, while
producing stunningly vibrant shades of red and green. The light cyan
and light magenta combination provides superb, natural gradations of
human skin, pastels and metallic surfaces. In addition, the CAMM JET
uses newly developed pigmented inks that provide both exceptional
color quality and UV light durability.

| High Performance Productivity |
The CAMM JET offers a choice of five resolutions (1440, 720, 540,
360 and 180 dpi) and seven print modes. The new Fine2 mode (540 dpi
resolution) produces excellent photo-quality images every time on
high-gloss vinyl and PET-G media at a high print speed. A single,
easily accessible lever controls the adjustment of three head
heights. An extra sturdy printer body and rugged stand construction
maximize results in continuous printing and output of long jobs
making the CAMM JET ideal for unattended output. An optional take up
system is available to help protect your work during unattended
printing.

| High Precision Cutting even after
Lamination |
Signs intended for long-term usage in outdoor environments
require lamination. With the CAMM JET, the built-in optical
registration function automatically recognizes the crop marks for
proper positioning and adjustment to facilitate cutting printed
media even after lamination. Crop marks are generated automatically
during printing. This feature permits taking a print off the machine
for lamination and reloading for high precision cutting. With a top
cutting speed of 600 mm/sec and new curve-smoothing functions, the
result is greatly enhanced throughput.

To ensure ease of use within all printing and cutting
environments, every CAMM JET includes easy-to-use Roland COLORCHOICE®
3.0, a high performance software RIP with functions specially
designed for cutting and printing. A variety of applications are
available that work with Windows® 98/95, Windows NT® 4.0 and Mac.
The CAMM JET is Adobe® PostScript® 3™compatible and included ICC
profiles are optimized for all Roland Piezo media, the degree of
resolution and Roland inksets.
