  For PRO 10000, Micro Piezo unit is re-engineered to support the exceptionally high performance level of this printer. Its renowned capability provided by high firing frequency and high stability is further improved. Now the number of nozzles is increased by 280% to 180 nozzles per color in comparison to the head unit of Pro 9000 series. • Variable-Sized Droplet Technology (VSDT)
  Richer tonality and better gradation expression are achieved by adapting the Variable-Sized Droplet Technology (VSDT). By precisely controlling the new Micro Piezo head, multiple-size droplets are freely distributed depending upon the image, modes and media selected for prints. Ultra Micro Dots as small as 5pl are used to produce the finest details and subtle gradation while larger dots are used in darker and more solid area to optimize the print speed.
  This VSDT is available in all printing modes, and hence the quality level is not devaluated even in the Speed Mode.
  
  
  
   
• Auto Print Head Optimization System (APHOS)
  The latest laser enhanced auto-detection technology automatically detects clogging before printing each page. This auto-detection process takes only 4 seconds for all 1408 nozzles minimizing the loss on the troughput.
   
  • Automatic Cleaning Process
    Print head cleaning is automatically applied when the clogging is detected. This process avoids the unnecessary cleaning, promotes unattended printing, and helps ensure the image quality especially when multiple number of prints are produced. 
    
    
    
     
• 500cc Intellidge^® Large Ink Cartridge System
   
  • Low Running Cost & High Productivity
    Now the volume of each ink tank is increased to 500ml (2.3 times over EPSON Stylus Pro 9500) for lower running cost and unattended operation. In addition, newly adapted Intellidge^® system indicates remaining ink volume via status monitor. The number of printable pages can be viewed on driver window*. The contribution of the Intellidge^® system with Sub Tank System allows the replacement of ink tank in the midth of printing for the great convenience and high productivity.

• Photo Accelerator Technology (PAT)
  Further improved data processing, compression, and transfer algorithm for the latest driver and the newly developed Photo Accelerator Module optimizes the performance of the printer. The print data is directly forwarded without RGB processing after the compression. Then the Photo Accelerator Module processes decompressed data with sophisticated color matching and halftoning for the fast and the precise image reproduction.

  • Auto Take Up Reel Unit
    Printed roll is automatically taken up by sensor-aided Reel Unit before reaching the floor. It is a practical solution to avoid folds and creases when printing banner or multiple images on the roll. It is also convenient when applying the lamination.
    
     
  • Manual Cutter Unit
    This option proves useful when printing on heavy or hard stock media which cannot be cut by the built-in Auto Media Cutter.
