Eye-One System
Color tools to ignite your imagination
With the new Eye-One, you’ll no longer have to make excuses for your color. This complete system, which includes both software and a true spectrophotometer, provides everything you need to create, communicate and manage color. Scan any color from any source to create color palettes. Thanks to a fancy thing called spectral data, each of your colors will be uniquely and accurately defined. Save and e-mail your palette to your client and everyone on your team. Your palette is exportable to all design applications, so you no longer have to rebuild palettes in each program.
Eye-One allows you to accurately input and output color - from scanner to monitor to desktop printer to final production — by creating unique profiles for all of your input and output devices (including your new flat panel display). To speed the process for creating output profiles, Eye-One features a scanning ruler that allows you to quickly measure test charts from your printer. So, you no longer have to assure clients that your design will print just fine. Now you can prove it.

Eye-One is available in three configurations. Eye-One Monitor is designed specifically to manage the color of your monitor. Eye-One Pro lets you measure and import all types of color, and also including software to profile your monitor. Eye-One Pro with Eye-One Match adds the ability to also profile input and output devices.

Eye-One Share freeware comes with all three packages and allows you to:

· create palettes beyond the realm of RGB and CMYK
· scan colors from any source (requires one of the Eye-One Pro systems)
· choose from a library of Pantone colors
· e-mail that palette to your boss, colleagues, clients, and your mom
· import that palette to your favorite design applications
· get a precise color match when converting colors to RGB or CMYK
